Acceptable Use of Microsoft Teams Respect other users: All users should treat others with respect and professionalism. Bullying, harassment, or discrimination will not be tolerated within the SETRAC Teams environment. Use appropriate language: Users are expected to communicate using respectful and appropriate language, refraining from engaging in offensive behavior. Keep information confidential: Users must not share confidential information without proper authorization. Additionally, unauthorized access or use of information is strictly prohibited. Adhere to company policies: Users are required to comply with all relevant company policies, including those pertaining to information security, data protection, and acceptable use of company resources. Use the platform for work purposes: SETRAC’s Teams platform is solely for work-related communication and collaboration. Personal use is not permitted. Exercise caution with file sharing: Users should be mindful when sharing files and ensure they are work-related. Moreover, all shared files must be free of viruses or malware. Maintain a professional tone: Users should communicate professionally and respectfully, avoiding using all caps, excessive punctuation, or any form of communication that may be perceived as aggressive or confrontational. Report concerns: Users should promptly report any concerns or suspicious behavior to a SETRAC Director or contact IT Support at support@setrac.org. Avoid sharing team information outside of Teams: Unless authorized by a SETRAC Director or appropriate authority, users must not share any information, files, or conversations from SETRAC’s Teams platform with individuals outside of SETRAC. This applies particularly to confidential or sensitive information that could pose a risk to SETRAC or its stakeholders if accessed by unauthorized parties. Enable cameras during video meetings: To ensure effective communication, collaboration, and user identification, all participants must turn their cameras on during sessions. This requirement promotes engagement, facilitates visual cues, and enhances the overall meeting experience. However, we understand that there may be exceptional circumstances where camera usage is not possible, and participants are encouraged to communicate any such limitations in advance to the meeting organizer or a SETRAC Director.
